Wildomar Senior Leisure Living Community & Assisted Living, a well-designed development for active senior citizens 55 and older. The community is a quiet setting for retired and active seniors who desire an easier more carefree lifestyle than that of maintaining a single family home. Wildomar Senior is the only California Retirement Community of its type that is family owned and operated. The owners are long-time local residents who built the facility to provide an atmosphere for seniors that promotes their quality of life.

Our grounds are heavily landscaped to resemble a beautiful shady park setting. The overall low density lends itself to much open space. In these spaces residents can enjoy a park-like environment with ½-mile of landscaped walking trails and benches, large and small conversation areas and views of night-lights and vistas available for both residents and guests to use while enjoying the grounds. We have individual flower and vegetable gardening plots for all residents to enjoy. Also, the shaded BBQ and picnic area is great for family and friend get-togethers.

The Independent Senior Apartments are 1 and 2 bedroom units from 525 to 650 sq. ft. in size. All are well designed with large kitchens, living rooms and each having a deck or private patio courtyard. Access to the upper floor is by handicapped elevator or staircases. Most units are positioned to enjoy the views of the surrounding valley, night lights and mountains. Each unit has its own covered carport. Each building cluster has its own laundry room for the residents to use. Extensive walkways connect buildings with parking and garden areas. There are 140 one-bedroom and 36 two-bedroom units. Handicap ramps inter-connect all units to mailboxes, laundry rooms, parking and community recreation center.

The entire Southern California Retirement Community rent structure is based on and considered to be “affordable”. All of our independent apartments are subject to affordable rent levels. In each, the cost of housing is substantially lower than “Market Rate” housing opportunities of like kind. Prices for independent apartments range from $624.00 to $749.00 for 1-bedroom units and $748.00 to $898.00 for 2-bedroom units subject to availability.

Apartments include the accessibility features most appreciated by older persons such as elevators to second floor units, wide doorways, grab bars in some bathrooms. Additional amenities include: covered carports, laundry rooms, exercise areas, and a recreation/education complex including a heated pool and spa. Residents will have the option of participation in, scheduled activities on and off the site, including shopping expeditions, etc.

The units and building design has been created with the proven theory of aging the residents in place. In order to accommodate the changing needs of our residents, we also offer "Assisted Living" apartments. This includes; housekeeping, full meal service and activities to keep the people active and energized. Seniors resist change when uprooting their living conditions and daily routines. At an elderly place in their lives, this can be detrimental to their well-being.

To add another very unique and appealing feature, we have designed a large community clubhouse for all residents to enjoy. It features a large pool and Jacuzzi, cabana, library and meeting room. This multi-purpose stand-alone building will be for joint use of our community residents as well as public Senior Citizens of Riverside County in Wildomar. The building is known as the Wildomar Senior Citizen Center. The Senior Center will incorporate many linked services to our complex, including a place for scheduled meetings, social functions, as well as a secured place to enjoy leisure time for all of Wildomar's Senior Residents. This center is also a congregating point for senior information, public health professionals and a variety of other services. A full calendar of social events keeps our residents as active as they choose.

All units are provided with paid utilities. Telephone and cable are extra for the independent apartments; however, cable is included in assisted living rent.

We gladly accept Section 8 Housing Assistance Program residents in all of our units.
