Welcome to St. John's Retirement Village

Greetings and thank you for visiting St. John's Retirement Village, a non-profit multi-level senior care and housing community. Built specifically for the changing needs of residents, St. John’s has five levels of care from the active independent senior to those in need of 24-hour skilled nursing care. St. John’s is home to more than 160 seniors who enjoy hearty, wholesome food, planned outings and activities and peace of mind with qualified staff on hand to address any need.

St. John's Retirement Village - A Community Treasure

In addition to providing top quality care for seniors, SJRV offers unique benefits to the Woodland community including training for Yuba College RN and LVN nursing programs and training for Regional Occupational Program (ROP) Certified Nursing Assistant students at both Pioneer and Woodland high schools. The facility also has a chapel for community worship which doubles as a community room for public events such as speakers, musicians and vendors. The library at SJRV is a regular polling place for elections.

Activities

Something is happening everyday from piano music and gospel singer performances to special day outings for picnics, BBQ’s and baseball games.

Campus

Comfort and contentment are not limited to the indoors. St. John’s is housed on 14 very beautifully landscaped and gated acres. St. John’s is regarded as the premier care facility of Woodland and the surrounding area. It is given a strong "thumbs up" by health providers and was voted "Best Senior Living in Yolo County" in the Daily Democrat.

Levels of Care

A fully gated private community provides security and safety for residents’ well-being. The atmosphere of St. John's is much like home. The food is hearty and wholesome and everyone considers themselves a part of a large family. The long term staff takes pride in their work and values their position in the lives of residents.

All cottages, apartments, personal care and Alzheimer’s units are private unless a resident chooses a semi-private option. The landscaping throughout the campus creates several peaceful, secluded locations perfect for quiet family/resident gathering.
