The Cummings Care Center offers 24-hour nursing care to chronically ill and frail elderly residents, as well as individuals recovering from strokes, heart attacks, arthritic conditions or other illnesses and injuries. Our team of experienced professionals, including registered/licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, licensed therapists and therapy assistants, is focused on providing specialized care and personalized attention.

Since fitness is a key component at a healthy community, Scripps Kensington provides a variety of programs to meet the physical needs of our residents. Our programs include:

Group exercise classes are led by experienced Scripps Kensington staff and our popular fitness instructor, Lou. Lou is a certified fitness instructor who specializes in teaching at retirement communities. Her expertise is surpassed only by her enthusiasm in enhancing the health and well-being of our seniors. Many of our residents take advantage of walking within the safety of the beautifully landscaped community. Scripps Kensington has both covered and uncovered walkways, enabling residents to walk throughout all the seasons.
