With over 40 years experience in Senior Housing Administration Spacious studio, one or two-bedroom apartments rent on a month-to-month-basis with no buy-in required.

Independent Living Program

All the services listed below are included in the apartment rent.

* A luxury apartment with a view (see apartment amenities).
* With electric stove top, small refrigerator, sink
* Three gourmet meals a day, served restaurant style (entree choices), in a
beautifully appointed, but casual dress dining room (see menu). In-between-meal
snacks available on the food cart in the library.
* Utilities Paid. All except telephone and premium cable channels.
* Apartment cleaned once a week, bed linen and towels provided and laundered once
a week and personal laundry done once a week.
* Entrance lobby door is monitored by receptionist
* Everyone entering the building must sign in and out
* Staff on duty twenty-four hours, seven days a week.
* Immediate staff emergency response system
* State-of-the-art fire protection throughout the building.
* Proactive wellness program conducted by registered nurse.
* Spiritual Needs - Local clergy hold in house services or transportation arranged.
* A full spectrum programs conducted by a full time, experienced activity leader
* The community bus provides transportation to scheduled medical appointments,
shopping trips and scenic rides.

Special Amenities

- Lobby and living room with spectacular views and comfortable chairs to sit in
while enjoying a chat, just watching the shoppers at the mall across the street
or enjoying a recital on our grand piano.
_ Large courtyard with, multicolored cement block driveway that circles around the
centerpiece cedar tree with flowers blooming beneath it all year-round. Great
for exercise, outdoor activities and music concerts under the stars.

book cart full, so instead of collecting everybody's old books, our readers have
access to what's new.

are served everyday and is the location for wonderful holiday parties and the

- Private dining room where our Chef will cater parties for residents' families
and friends. Residents enjoy entertaining their social groups in that elegant

- Laundry Rooms are located on each floor of the building for the convenience of
residents who wish to launder their personal items.
- Special Elevator takes residents to the flat part of the Sixth Avenue, where a
stroll across the street takes residents to restaurants, retail shops, banks,
Safeways, Walgreens. There is even a Blockbuster video rental in the mall.

Moving into the Vista

- Review with you all your current possessions as to what you want to take with
you to The Vista and what you wish to give away to family and friends.
- Plan the interior design of your Vista apartment using your own furniture and
treasures.
- Be with you when you move into the Vista and help you unpack.
- Arrange your furnishings and organize and put away your possessions so that your
new Vista home is attractive and convenient for you.

Moving out of your home

- Schedule the movers and packers and coordinate their work.
- Dispose of all items that remain in your former home including your automobile.
- Sell all items with significant resale value. Have a written account of the
sales.
- Donate to charity, in your name, as much as possible. Have them provide you with
the receipt and a typewritten, itemized list of your donations.
- Haul away all remainder and trash, including toxic materials (garden chemicals,
paints) and yard debris.
- Professionally clean the house for sale.

The Vista Short Term Stay

The short term stay has proven to be the choice of families who wish to leave an elderly parent in a supervised, safe environment while they are on vacation or away on business.

The senior who lives alone, and has been sent home too soon after a
hospitalization comes for a short term stay and is relieved of worry,
knowing he/she will be taken care of. We find the encouragement provided by our staff hastens the recovery.

Sometimes the caregiver needs a respite from the constant, heavy responsibility of taking care of a loved one. The senior enjoys a short term stay while the caretaker has a carefree time to rejuvenate.

Another senior who we serve in the short term setting is the one who can't
quite make the decision to become a Vista family member. It's hard to break away from a long established lifestyle. It is a difficult decision for the senior, or, if a family is making the choice for a parent, even more difficult.

We have the solution: try us out! Come to live with us for a minimum of two
weeks with a maximum stay that is negotiable. We treat you to our usual resort-style living with all of your needs met and if our program does meet the expectations, you make a choice of an apartments in one of the long term wings. If there is a problem with changing environments, accommodations can be made.

We have tastefully furnished both studios and one-bedroom apartments for seniors in our short stay wing. All needs are supplied including the
bedding and towels. Just throw some clothes and personal items in a bag! And remember, your personal laundry will be done for you.

Residents may choose a one-bedroom or a studio apartment for their "vacation." The rental charge for respite apartments includes all the amenities and services in the facility, including assisted care.
