Aegis of Concord is conveniently located in the growing suburb of Concord in Contra Costa County. It is centrally located next to Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill, California. As the largest city in Contra Costa County, Concord is considered to be one of the major suburbs of Oakland and San Francisco. Concord is fortunate to have a varied geography and moderate climate. Summer is mostly dry while winters are mild. Concord is nestled between the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to the north and Mount Diablo to the south.

Concord is musically acknowledged for its world-class acts performed at the Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord, a unique outdoor venue tucked into the foothills of Mt. Diablo. Renowned performers such as Prince, Sting and the Gypsy Kings have all graced this venue. Concord is also the home of the annual Concord Jazz Festival and was the home of the Concord Records Jazz record label until it was bought in 1999.
