Friendly faces, warm hearts, great retirement living amid natural beauty.

That’s just what you deserve. For all the years you’ve put into making the world a better place for the rest of us, it’s time we return the favor. Now it’s your turn to sleep in, indulge in great food, enjoy your choice of social activities and feel at ease as part of our family. Leave the driving, cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, yard work and maintenance to us while you enjoy your favorite things in life. At Shasta Estates, we’re here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Shasta Estates is located in the town of Redding, California, along I-5 and the Sacramento River in the northwestern-most corner of the state’s immense Central Valley. Redding - the county seat of Shasta County - lies in the substantial shadow of spectacular Mount Shasta, which graces the valley and gives our community its name.

There’s plenty to see and do at Shasta Estates, and out and about in Redding and its environs, including: Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, spanning the Sacramento River and connecting Redding’s nationally-designated trail system with Turtle Bay’s museum, 20-acre gardens, and the McConnell Arboretum (at one end of the bridge – which has a deck of opaque aqua glass - is a working 217 foot-tall sundial!); live performing arts at the renovated Art Deco palace, the Cascade Theatre; and of course the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Recreation Area, which offers something for everyone: boating, fishing, walking/hiking, picnicking, bird/wildlife watching, or simply taking in the sublime vistas of pristine Shasta wilderness in any season.

At the end of the day, come home to Shasta Estates in lovely Redding. We would be happy to welcome you into our family!
