Forest Hill Manor, the first not-for-profit retirement community on the Monterey Peninsula, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004 and began its sixth decade of service by initiating a new Continuing Care Program. The expansion of the community adds a new state-of-the-art Health Center comprising a new assisted living wing and skilled nursing center, and thirty-two new residential apartments. The first eight apartments, located in cottages at the corner of Fountain and Gibson, were completed in the fall of 2007 and occupied. The four-story South Wing houses the Health Center and twenty-four apartments, many of which have been reserved: call the Residency Counselor to find out what is available and view the floor plans under Apartments.
