Gracious Independent Living Apartments
You'll find all the comforts of home, and more, in Baywood's modern 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments for Independent Living residents. Our spacious apartments have full kitchens and ample room for residents to bring many of their furnishings, artwork, keepsakes and mementos.
Because Baywood residents are part of an active community - and to insure that our residents have excellent comfort and care - our rates include an array of programs and amenities:
• Breakfast and dinner with buffet or restaurant service. Lunch is available at an
additional cost
• Meaningful volunteer opportunities/wealth of activities and programs
• Weekly cleaning and linen service, and laundry facilities on every floor
• Transportation and on-site parking
• Apartments with private decks or patios
• 24-hour staff response is available via our emergency pull cords
Baywood residents enjoy a host of amenities, included in the rentals for our affordable, modern apartments and assisted living studios. We provide fine dining, gardens, a pool and spa, and excellent maintenance and care. We offer transportation, access to BART and public transport, and a unique excursions program that brings residents to interesting locations in the Bay Area and beyond. Our caring staff is available 24 hours a day.
Affordable Living
No hidden costs. Apartments at Baywood Court are affordable, with no "buy in" fees or other hidden costs.
Independent Living amenities are included. Your monthly Baywood rental includes a spacious 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom apartment, plus a generous array of amenities for your enjoyment and comfort.
Fine Dining
Baywood residents may choose buffet service or full-service restaurant dining. We offer something tasty for everyone. Our chef prepares menus featuring the freshest meat, fish, and vegetables. Nutritional counseling is available for residents with special dietary needs.
Transportation
Baywood Court vehicles take residents to nearby shopping centers, medical appointments, and to public transportation (BART).
On-site parking is available at Baywood for residents and visitors.
Excursions
Residents enjoy a multitude of resident-planned excursions, throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Residents may sign-up for as many as 60 trips each year to unique and interesting locations near and far, organized by the all-volunteer Baywood Court Travelers. In our first ten years, we boasted over 600 trips. (Additional costs apply.)
Exercise Facilities
Those who wish to exercise at Baywood will enjoy many on-going classes tailored to senior needs, or they may use Baywood's exercise gym on their own.
T'ai chi is the latest discipline added to the exercise roster (another resident inspiration).
Water aerobics classes are popular in warmer months, and many recreational swimmers enjoy the beautiful lap-size swimming pool and Jacuzzi spa. Walking paths flank the property for those who enjoy quieter, more contemplative exercise.
